Then for four years, she volunteered to teach English conversation to Korean students at Saint Joseph School in South Korea.
Sister Marian Joseph ministered as the director of activities and programs for the retired Sisters of Charity. After her retirement, she volunteered at Caritas Christi in pastoral care office, as a driver, companion, director of transportation for retired sisters, and a number of other roles.
When reflecting on her decades of service as a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill, Sister Marian Joseph said, “It has been a life of happiness: teaching school, religious education classes, volunteering in Korea and, in later life, helping to make life pleasant and enjoyable for our senior sisters.” As she ministered to many sisters, the Sisters of Charity are grateful to the staff at Caritas Christi who returned the same excellent care of her.
Rest in peace, Sister Marian Joseph, as you join St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and all the Company of Charity in heavenly peace.
