Spiritual Kindness & Connection
Giving Tuesday is a global event that takes place every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Organizations across the globe unite to kick of the season of giving. This year the global pandemic has affected us all. We have witnessed the most genuine acts of kindness amidst of the hardship many have suffered through.
Changes we couldn’t have imagined last year have been prominent in 2020. In the midst of them all, connections among us are important. The doors at Caritas Christi have not been open for visitors for much of the year. The sisters have been surrounded by eachother and the faithful staff who have cared for them throughout the year. They have prayed together daily for you and the world suffering through this pandemic.
On Giving Tuesday, this December 1, we are asking for donations to help our sisters living at Caritas Christi.. Your donation could provide necessities for the inevitable flu season, such as isolation carts. It could supply new bed sheets, or replacement furniture for common areas in their home.
Over the last several months, we have shared our journey at Caritas Christi virtually through Facebook; and recently we have shared a video series with a few sisters who shared their thoughts on the challenges we have faced over the last year.
