AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THE FAMILIES OF ELIZABETH SETON MEMORY CARE RESIDENTS
10/19/20
Dear Elizabeth Seton Memory Care Families,
As you know, the safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff are our primary commitment and concern. Due to the rise in the COVID-19 rate to 8.9% in Westmoreland County, we regret to tell you that out of an abundance of caution ESMCC has made the decision to discontinue in-person family visitation to our facility effective Wednesday, October 21, 2020. We will continue to coordinate visits by phone and video as much as possible.
We closely monitor the information provided by the CDC and the State of Pennsylvania to remain in safe compliance with all guidelines. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will once again begin scheduled family visits. We will notify you immediately of any change in visitation status. As we did during the visit restriction in place earlier this year, arrangements will be made on an as-needed basis for visits related to compassionate care.
Please be assured that your loved ones are receiving the best possible care from our well trained dedicated staff. We are grateful for your continued cooperation and patience during these difficult times.
Sincerely,
Vicky Ahrens, RN, BSN Administrator
